a gorgeous wine - drinks like something with a much more noble pedigree. beautiful nose of flowers, pit fruits, and sweet pear nectar. nice on the palate, with just a hint of richness balancing the lip-smacking acidity. i wish i bought more!

Watch for 2006 Margui rouge and the 2008 blanc next week. Both will add to the property's stock as one of the up and comers in Provence. Not to mention, the clear glass bottles and labels are quite lovely!

Thanks for the heads up one the Margui rouge. I bough a lot of the last Margui offered and it is a terrific wine even though I did find a bit of bottle varriation.

For me, this lacked intensity of aroma and flavor. It was pleasing to the taste, but not much more. Acidity was there in spades (as is most J Rimmerman touted wine, I've found)

Curious as to opinions on whether this could benefit form more time in the cellar or not. The acidity is surely there for a while, but I'm hesitant to assume the fruit will be...

yeah, second bottle didn't do it for me either. I only bought 2, thankfully. I've been very happy with the rest of my Garagiste purchases, all in all. This one just wasn't for me, I guess. Super glad I only bought 2.
