Couldn't find entries under Garagiste Offers, so I'm posting here...
I purchased a few bottles of the 2006 and 2007, and in both I have encountered a pretty aggressive bell pepper component that overshadows much of the fruit. It seems to mellow a bit with air, but still predominates even on day 3. Is this typical of this wine? Does it need extended cellaring (the screwcap led me to assume otherwise)? Am I missing something? I'm usually a big fan of Semillon-based wines (including relatively atypical expressions) and was expecting to love this, but based on these two vintages it's hard for me to see this as much beyond an oddity.
