Polignano a Mare in Puglia, Italy (February 23, 2011)

Congratulations to Gary Reed for being the first to identify Polignano a Mare in Puglia, Italy. The statue is of native son and singer/songwriter/statesman Domenico Modugno (of “Volare” fame). We’re not quite sure why the statue was covered, but you can see it here without its shroud. Stay tuned for the next Where’s Jon soon.
